DKTB will always be here to support those in need

In the heartbreaking event of infant loss, we’ve included some resources for guidance, support and love during such a difficult time. These resources are personal to us and have helped us greatly along our grief journey.

Outside Resources for Grief Support

Cedar Valley Hospice

Cedar Valley Hospice offers grief counseling free of charge to those who have experienced any type of loss.
After the loss of Ellie, we were able to meet frequently with a wonderful grief counselor from CVH who provided us with a judgment-free space to grieve, be heard and receive support in a loving way.

No Foot Too Small

Founded in 2014 by Robin Boudreau, No Foot Too Small is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is centered around supporting those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.

NFTS created a space for us to share our unique story and to form connections and build relationships with other families who were also grieving the loss of an infant.

Still I Rise

“Still I Rise” is the title of DKTB co-founder Holly Sitzmann’s blog and is centered around grief, infant loss and finding hope after experiencing such a tragic loss.

It is Holly’s personal hope that by providing raw and real emotions, true experiences with grief and glimpses of hope during such a dark time that others will be reminded that they are not alone as they grieve the loss of their child.
